Nunavut Territory CD Information

IBM and Most PC Users

Insert the CD, and AutoRun will start the CD for you. Let AutoRun finish and the start menu appears on your screen. Simply select 'CD-ROM' from the file list.

System Requirements

Intel or compatible processor (minimum of 66-MHz 486 or later processor)

16 MB of RAM

Netscape or Internet Explorer

Windows 95, 98 or NT

Pentium processor is recommended for media components.

Sound Blaster or compatible sound card with speakers.

Macintosh Users

Insert the Nunavut CD into the computer. Open Netscape, or Internet Explorer. Go to the 'file' command at the menu on top of your screen and select 'open'. Select the file 'start' to begin running the CD-ROM.

System Requirements

68020, 68030, 68040, with at least 8 MB of RAM

PowerPC microprocessor with at least 16 MB RAM

MAC OS version 7.1.1 or later

Statistical Data linked to communities on the Nunavut Interactive Map is the most recent data collected from the federal census in 1996. Another federal census was conducted in March 2001, however Nunavut Data from that census was not collated and made available to the public.

You will need a video player on your computer to view the video clips. If you do not have one installed on your computer, we have installed one (QuickTime) on the CD. Locate the QUICKTIME installation file on your CD, install the program, and then re-start your computer. THis program will then play audio and video clips for you.

Purchase of the Nunavut CD includes a SITE LICENCE which entitles the purchaser to unlimited use of the CD at their school or business.
